Solidsoft Reply signs agreement to implement and operate the Bulgarian National Medicine Verification System

Following а robust selection process organised by the Bulgarian Medicine Verification Organisation (BgMVO), Solidsoft Reply, the Reply group company specialising in enterprise strength solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, has been selected and signed an agreement to implement and operate the National Medicines Verification System in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Medicines Verification Organisation is a not-for-profit organisation, incorporated in 2016, responsible for the implementation of the EU’s Falsified Medicines Directive (Directive 2011/62/EU).

A new Main Board of the Association of Research'based Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Bulgaria was elected
On April 20, 2017, a new Board of Directors of the Association was elected at a regular reporting-election meeting of the General Assembly of the Association of Research-based Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Bulgaria

For Chairperson was elected Dr. Hristo Trunchev - Manager of Novartis Pharma for Bulgaria;
Deputy Chairperson Mrs. Zoya Paunova, Manager of AstraZeneca for Bulgaria.

The other members of the MB are:
Dr. Krasimira Chimishanska - Amgen
Mr. Nikolaos Xidias - GSK
Dr. Krum Kasabov - Novo Nordisk
Dr. Methodia Chadikowski - Roche
Mr. Aurelien Breton - Servier

Bayer Bulgaria was elected as the Controller of the Association.
The new leadership of the Association of Research-based Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Bulgaria will continue the efforts of the organisation to improve the access of Bulgarian patients to quality, modern and effective drug treatment and will cooperate with all state institutions and organisations that set the same goal.

MoU_01.12.2015_MoskovOn 1 December 2015 was signed а Memorandum of Understanding between the Bulgarian Health Ministry and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, doctors’ and patients’ organisations is set to reduce the gap between Bulgaria and other European countries with regard to the level of access and uptake of medicines.
