SendThe Association of Research- based Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Bulgaria proposed to health authorities a package of measures to ensure access of patients to innovative pharmaceutical treatment, while allowing for control and planned growth of public spending on drugs. The proposals include two main elements.
On November 26, 2013 the Association of Research- based Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Bulgaria (ARPharM) adopted the Code for Disclosure of Transfers of Value by Pharmaceutical Companies to Healthcare Professionals and Health Organizations. The new Code requires from the beginning of 2016 all members of the organization to publicly disclose their financial relationships with healthcare professionals and health organizations. Thereby ARPharM joined the initiative of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations, which adopted its Disclosure Code in June 2013.
June 30, 2009, Sofia. The Association of Research-based Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Bulgaria (ARPharM) conducted a series of pre-election meetings with representatives of the main political parties.
September 29 - October 1, 2006, Sunny Beach, Bulgaria – three-day conference on "Challenges of Delivering Health in the Enlarged Europe – Experience and Perspectives from Member States and Accession Countries" was held. The conference is financed by the European Commission and organised by the Faculty of Public Health of the Medical University, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF). A number of significant for the Bulgarian healthcare topics were discussed.
On 13th of September 2006 in Hilton Sofia was held a Workshop on EU Accession and Required Regulatory Activities. The participants discussed topics regarding the regulatory activities, which authorities and industry need to undertake prior to Bulgaria's accession to EU, as well as improving the cooperation and dialogue between the companies and the agency. Speakers from EMEA, BDA, EFPIA took part in the event. The participants were greeted welcome on behalf of Ministry of Health by Dr. Svetlana Spasova, Director National Health Policy department.
